Microsoft’s Xbox and Paramount Pictures are collaborating to give away pizza-scented Xbox controllers to celebrate the movie release – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle: Mutant Mayhem.
The controllers come in four variations, each representing the movie’s protagonists: Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo. All controllers have a green oozy base pattern and each design is infused with elements of respective signature colours and weapons. These exclusive controllers come with a built-in pizza-shaped scent diffuser behind the gamepad but there will be only one flavour of pizza scent. This would be another new addition to its unique controller series, with other notable creations previously including an actual Jade one, a pair of fluffy ones celebrating Sonic the Hedgehog, as well as an Earth Day edition one using recycled plastics.
Fans of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, or “special” controllers lovers can join the giveaway by following Xbox Game Pass on Twitter (now called X) and retweet the giveaway post by August 13. However do note that the giveaway is only eligible for legal residents of Xbox Console supported countries and unfortunately Malaysia is not on the list but Singaporean friends might stand a chance.
Microsoft Xbox’s TMNT crossover also extends to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, where a new DLC will be available on August 3, adding new playable characters and enemies as well as some iconic movie locations. Players will be able to play as any of the four turtles and access 20 TMNT skins, and a free Turtle T-shirt redeemable by September 1
