Post Trauma, the game that was originally announced during the Game Awards Show back in 2022, was called back into the spotlight once again during the Guerrilla Collective 2024 showcase, much to many fans excitement. Though, after seeing the trailer for the game which released a while ago, many people online noticed that this upcoming game had clear inspiration from other horror games, more notably The Evil Within and Resident Evil.
The player assumes the role of the main character, Roman, a middle-aged train conductor, who wakes up in an abandoned hospital, only to quickly realise that he was also trapped alongside monsters. With that, players will have to guide Roman in escaping past these monsters, by attacking these monsters, by solving various puzzles scattered throughout the game, all to ensure Roman's safety from the nightmarish creatures.
Based on the trailer that was released, Post Trauma is set to launch in Fall 2024 for multiple consoles, such as PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Since it was hinted out a few years back, many people have been excited to play the game and they will finally be given the opportunity later this year. The trailer showcases more of the gameplay and what players can expect while playing. Furthermore, the trailer also features the voice actors who are in the game: Autumn Ivy, Hyoie O’Grady, and Togo Igawa.
The actual date announcement and the price for the game has yet to be released, however, players will be able to add this game to their wishlist on Steam. After a long wait, players will hope that the game will live up to the hype!
