Bandai Namco Entertainment recently revealed that they will be releasing the Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream game worldwide on October 4 on multiple platforms which includes the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The company released the story trailer with English subtitles for the world.
According to Bandai Namco, the original story for the game is as follows:
A new system has been added to the world of Alfheim Online. However, due to a malfunction, all worlds and timelines has begun to collide, which creates a unique setting and new challenges for Kirito and the other players. All lost in uncharted territory, enemies become allies, departed characters are back and unlikely alliances will be formed to survive the dangers in this brand new unsettling world.
The game is set to receive several editions, which includes a Standard edition, a Deluxe Edition, which consists of a DLC character pass and a costume set, as well as a Premium Edition that additionally includes another costume, digital art book, digital soundtrack, and early access three days before the release.
