Samsung Electronics unveiled its 2025 lineup of Smart Monitors, Odyssey Gaming Monitors, and ViewFinity Monitors, showcased at CES's First Look event on January 5. These new models introduce AI features, expanded OLED sizes, and innovative designs, catering to work, gaming, and creativity needs.

Smart Monitor M9: Entertainment and Efficiency Get an AI Upgrade
The Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF) is Samsung's first monitor with integrated AI, featuring the AI Picture Optimizer to automatically adjust display settings based on content type—gaming, video, or productivity—for an enhanced viewing experience. For gamers, it fine-tunes visuals based on game genres for optimal immersion.
Additionally, its 4K AI Upscaling Pro upgrades lower-resolution content to near-4K quality using advanced AI processing and neural networks, ensuring sharp and detailed visuals.
The M9 boasts a 32” 4K OLED screen with VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 400 for vivid colors and contrast, a slim design with an Easy Setup Stand for workspace convenience, and a built-in 4K camera for versatile use. These features combine to deliver a smart, personalized, and high-performance experience.
Samsung Odyssey Series: Two Samsung Firsts With a 27” 4K OLED Gaming Monitor and an OLED Screen With a 500Hz Refresh Rate
The Odyssey gaming monitor series powers up industry-leading performance in new sizes with the 2025 Odyssey OLED G8 and G6 models.
The Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF model) is our first 27” 4K (3,840 x 2,160) OLED gaming monitor in the world. The screen packs in 165 PPI(pixels per inch) with a refresh rate of 240Hz. The level of pixel density and screen smoothness gives game creators and players a new level of detail and picture quality as they build and explore realistic gaming worlds.
The Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF) introduces Samsung's first OLED gaming monitor with a blazing 500Hz refresh rate on a QHD (2560x1440) screen, delivering ultra-smooth gameplay for competitive gamers. With a 0.03ms (GTG) response time, support for AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync™, and VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 400, the G6 ensures smooth, tear-free visuals with deep contrast and vibrant colors. Its OLED Glare Free screen minimizes reflections for an uninterrupted gaming experience.
Samsung also showcased the 27” Odyssey 3D (G90XF) at CES, featuring a lenticular lens and front stereo camera for a glasses-free, customizable 3D experience. Its AI-powered technology can convert 2D video into 3D, adding new depth to content.
ViewFinity S8: A Bigger Canvas for Productivity and Creativity
The 37” ViewFinity S8 (S80UD) is Samsung's largest 16:9 4K monitor, offering a screen 34% larger than its predecessor to boost productivity and efficiency. Its sRGB 99% color gamut and 4K resolution (3840x2160) ensure vibrant and accurate visuals, ideal for professional users.
Certified by TÜV Rheinland as an "Ergonomic Workspace Display," the S8 promotes immersive and efficient workflows with Intelligent Eye Care, which adjusts color temperature to reduce eye fatigue. Additional features like Eye Saver Mode and flicker-free technology enhance user comfort during extended use.
The S8 includes a built-in KVM switch for seamless multitasking across devices with one mouse and keyboard. A 90W USB-C connection supports charging and connectivity, while the Easy Setup Stand optimizes workspace organization.
