BYD’s premium sub-brand, DENZA, has officially entered the Malaysian market with the launch of its flagship model, the DENZA D9. Under the theme “Redefining Sophistication,” the brand blends luxury, advanced technology, and sustainability to elevate modern mobility. BYD aims to set new standards in the premium segment while promoting greener transportation solutions.

Originally established in 2010 as a joint venture between BYD and Mercedes-Benz, DENZA became a wholly-owned BYD subsidiary after restructuring in 2021 and 2024. The brand has gained global recognition, particularly with the success of the DENZA D9, a high-end MPV first introduced in 2022.

Providing Closer Services to Malaysian Consumers

The DENZA D9 will be available in Malaysia in three exterior colors—Arctic White, Cosmos Black, and Whale Sea Blue—paired with Beige or Brown interior options for a refined look.
It will come in two variants:
DENZA D9 Advanced (FWD) – RM 259,000
DENZA D9 Premium (AWD) – RM 309,000
The model includes comprehensive warranties, with coverage of up to 8 years or 160,000 km for the battery (SOH ≥70%), 8 years or 150,000 km for the drive motor and controller, and 6 years or 150,000 km for the vehicle.
Customers can experience the DENZA D9 at its launch event from February 21 to 23 at The Landing, KL Base. The event will feature test drives, a technology showcase, a VR showroom, and more. Visitors are encouraged to register in advance for a seamless experience.
