CelcomDigi Alliance (CDAL), Malaysia's premier PUBG MOBILE Esports team is set to make create a stir at the prestigious PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) 2024. With their dominance in the Southeast Asian region, CDAL hopes to make their mark on the global stage, competing with 47 other teams for the title.
Eugene Chin, the Country Manager of Tencent Games in Malaysia expressed his excitement about CDAL's participation in PMGC 2024 and wished them the best in their efforts of representing Malaysia on the big stage and winning the tournament.
For the PMGC 2024 format, 48 teams will split into three groups during the Group Stage and the Top Three from each group will enter the Grand Finals. Meanwhile, the top fourth-eleventh place in each group will enter the “Survival Stage” where only sixteen will proceed to the “Last Chance”, where the top six teams will make it to the “Grand Finals”.
The Grand Finals of PMGC 2024 will take place from December 6th to 8th, 2024 and CDAL has managed to secure a spot for the third consecutive year. The team is led by star player ADIKLUQ, they've consistently finished in the top positions of the PMSL, earning the nickname "The Uncrowned Kings."
Despite their dominance in the region, CDAL's quest for a global championship hasn't been the best. Though, with new additions to the roster including the likes of experienced in-game leader JIMMY and the continued growth of players like OLIYO, LEONDZ, and FLAX, the team is more determined than ever to break through and achieve their ultimate goal.
ADIKLUQ stated that the team is ready to represent Malaysia at PMGC 2024 and that they are determined to leave everything on the battlefield to get the victory. The team strong roster includes ADIKLUQ, the team’s key player, JIMMY, the team’s new in-game leader (IGL), LEONDZ who shines during high-stakes moments and FLAX who is always committed to help his team earn the victory.
As they head into PMGC 2024, having placed 15th in the previous year's finals, CDAL is a team to watch. Their hunger for success, coupled with their consistency and explosive potential, makes them a formidable opponent for any team. With their strong team dynamics, exceptional individual skills, and unwavering dedication, they are poised to make a significant impact on the global stage.
