PlayStation recently released on their PlayStation blog that they will be releasing their PlayStation Portal across several countries located in South East Asia, some of those countries include Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and if course Malaysia.
In May of 2023, PlayStation released a sneak peek into their dedicated PlayStation 5 remote play device, the PlayStation Portal.
With this device, you'll be able to experience the feeling of playing your PlayStation at the palm of your hands. It also comes with many advanced features to keep players immersed such as a DualSense wireless controller, which includes adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. The remote player device also features a 8-inch LCD screen with a 1080p resolution and 60fps to ensure a high definition visual experience when you're gaming.
This device ensures that you will be able to game even when you're sharing the TV wit your family, or if you want to play your PS5 in the comforts of your room. All you have to do is connect to your PS5 via WiFi, and you'll be able to jump from playing from your console to this device.
The PlayStation Portal will be releasing in Malaysia from October 9th onwards and users will be able to Pre-order the device from 5th August onwards! And the suggested retailed price for this device is said to be RM 999.
