OPPO has launched its successor to last year’s OPPO Watch in China.
As reported by XDA Developers, the OPPO Watch 2 has a curved AMOLED display and, on the inside, the Snapdragon Wear 4100 and a custom Apollo 4s co-processor. The watch runs on an Android 8.1-based ColorOS.
The 46 mm model of the watch can apparently last up to 16 days in Power Saver mode and up to four days in Smart Mode. Other battery-related features include Ultra Dynamic Dual Engine technology for battery life extension and VOOC 2.0 fast charging support, with the latter said to provide one day’s worth of usage after 10 minutes.
On the fitness side, the Oppo Watch 2 has over 100 sports modes, 24-hour heart rate tracking, and SpO2 monitoring. There’s also other features like tracking for stress, snoring, and sleep. Elsewhere, 9to5Google says that the watch has 5 ATM water resistance and a built-in GPS.
The OPPO Watch 2 has has a 42 mm eSIM model, a 46 mm eSIM model, and a 42 mm Bluetooth-only model. They cost CNY1,999 (~RM1,304), CNY1,499 (~RM978), and CNY 1,299 (~RM847) respectively. There’s no word of an international release yet. #oppo #oppowatch2 #smartwatch
