A next-gen version of Apex Legends may be coming as a native PS5 version of the game was recently found on PSN. PlayStation Game Size tweeted its findings from across the PSN database for new game additions and file sizes.
According to the tweet, the PS5 version will have an initial download size of 80GB. The current forwards-compatible PS4 version is around 55GB at first download. In fact, developer Respawn mentioned the idea during Reddit AMAs last year and it's planning for 120fps for the update.
Analyst MauroNL also tweeted that a next-gen update of Apex Legends is coming soon, and it could feature boosted resolution, higher graphic fidelity, and a 120fps mode.
