Infinix, the trendy tech brand, is hosting the Infinix Esports Tournament Season 3 Offline Playoffs on December 17, 2024, at the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU). Partnering with Honor of Kings (HOK) and MediaTek, the event aims to elevate esports excitement and nurture talent in Malaysia.
Infinix, in collaboration with Honor of Kings and MediaTek, recently launched a game research lab to advance mobile gaming technology, enhance performance, and explore AI-driven innovations. As part of this initiative, eight Malaysian university esports clubs held mini tournaments, with 16 teams competing in online qualifiers from November 18–21, 2024. The top four teams—JTC and Baba from APU, and Focusmode and U Gen from USM—will face off in the Offline Playoffs on December 17 at the APU Atrium, starting at 11 A.M., for a prize pool of RM10,000.
Beyond the thrilling esports action, visitors can enjoy engaging activities at Infinix’s booths, with the chance to win exclusive prizes, including Infinix smartphones, Homebois jerseys, and exclusive Infinix merchandise. Matches will be streamed live on Infinix official TikTok and Facebook pages as well as Honor of Kings' official Facebook page.
