HyperX Launches Ergonomic Smartphone Grip for Mobile Gamers

In a somewhat surprising twist, HyperX has announced the HyperX ChargePlay Clutch - an ergonomic grip with a detachable battery pack, designed for mobile gamers.

The ChargePlay Clutch isn't a controller per se - it does not come with any buttons or thumbsticks, and is basically a pair of contoured grips designed to make your gaming sessions more comfortable. The space in between is large enough to house a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, so it should be able to accommodate most phones comfortably.

On top of making your PUBG Mobile (or Fortnite or CoD Mobile or Mobile Legends) sessions more comfortable, it also promises to keep your smartphone battery topped up without having to plug it in, courtesy of the detachable 3,000mAh battery that snaps on magnetically. To keep the battery topped up, you can hook it up to a power source via either of the USB-C ports located on both the accessory and the battery itself.

The HyperX Chargeplay Clutch currently retails for US$59.99 (~RM266) on Amazon US and the official HyperX US website- no word on local availability yet.
