It's no joke that the foldable phone trend is a real thing as we have the Galaxy Z Flip3 and Fold3 launched this year, followed by the upcoming Oppo Find N. Apparently, another Chinese manufacturer is also planning to launch its very first foldable too. The rumours of an Honor foldable has surfaced online since the past few months and we're finally getting a look at the Honor Magic Fold 5G.
In a render leaked on Twitter by @RODENT950, the Honor foldable appears to look similar to the Galaxy Z Fold devices. Rumors suggest that the device will feature an 8" display with a 2200 x 2480 resolution. It will be powered by an octa-core processor with one Cortex A-77 core running at 3.13GHz, three Cortex A-77 cores running at 2.54GHz, and four Cortex A-55 cores running at 2.05GHz. It could pack 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Based on the render, it could have a 108MP main camera on the back. Underneath the hood, it might use a 4500mAh battery. We expect the phone to ship with Android 12 as it is expected to launch in Q1 2022. The company also reportedly plans to launch another foldable with a clamshell form factor, probably with the likes of the Galaxy Z Flip series.
