HoYoverse has announced the release of Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0, titled "Paean of Era Nova," on January 15. In Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 3.0 "Paean of Era Nova", the Astral Express sets course for Amphoreus, a chaotic and enigmatic world. Unlike other planets, Amphoreus's inhabitants are unaware of the outside universe and worship twelve deities called Titans instead of Aeons. Legends tell of these Titans shaping Amphoreus, though its history is marred by tragedy. A civil war among the gods and the emergence of the mysterious "black tide" plunged the world into eternal night, driving humanity to seek refuge in Okhema, the last sanctuary under the protection of Kephale, the Worldbearing Titan.
The Trailblazer’s journey begins in the Abyss of Fate, a desolate region once governed by three Titans who wove time, space, and rules for Amphoreus. Meeting Oronyx, the Titan of Time, unlocks the Path of Remembrance, granting the ability to draw strength from the past. Players also gain a new companion, Mem, whose adorable appearance belies its crucial role in combat. Mem charges Energy during battles, enabling characters to take immediate action and deal significant damage.
Arriving in Okhema, players find a city built into the mountainside, perpetually illuminated by the light of Kephale. The Marmoreal Palace, the city’s centerpiece, serves not only as a bathhouse but also as a vital hub for social interaction. Amidst eternal night and chaos, Okhema remains a beacon of hope, home to the Chrysos Heirs, who seek to reclaim the Titans’ Coreflames and restore Amphoreus. The Trailblazer joins their quest, battling alongside them to reclaim these divine remnants.
The adventure extends to Castrum Kremnos, a city-state where the Strife Titan resides. Here, players explore ruins, wield the Hand of Zagreus—a powerful tool for exploration and combat—and confront the maddened Strife Titan to recover its Coreflame. The journey concludes in the Vortex of Genesis, the sanctuary of the twelve Titans and the origin of the Miracle of Genesis. As Coreflames are reclaimed, they are returned to this sacred place, with each illuminated constellation marking the heroic paths of predecessors.
Version 3.0 delivers an expansive story arc intertwined with mythology and adventure. Through alliances with the Chrysos Heirs, players embark on an epic journey to unravel the mysteries of Amphoreus, reclaim its lost glory, and shape its destiny.
