Last month, CD Projekt RED confirmed the arrival of a new expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 sometime in 2023. Now fans have discovered files related to the expansion were accidentally added to the game's code with its latest patch. Apparently, the files contain lines of dialogues that can potentially outline the expansion.
According to the leaks, the upcoming expansion would have 7 core missions, along with side content, including fixer quests, world stories, and new world encounters. Some previously blocked-off areas may also be open for exploration, such as the Combat Zone from the Pacifica Region and the Sports Dome.
The main story is expected to follow a character named Songbird, who was previously leaked. Players can also look forward to Mr. Blue Eyes and other characters like Mr. Hands and Rosalind Myers. Surprisingly, Johnny Silverhand (voiced by Keanu Reeves) has little dialogue in the expansion, explicitly being silenced at various points (via VGC).
