CAPCOM has recently announced that they will be releasing a remastered version of their 2006 game, Dead Rising, titled Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. and that it will be released sometime this year and released a new trailer at the same time.
The game follows Frank West, a freelance photojournalist, who arrives in a Colorado town for news but gets caught in a sudden virus outbreak. Stranded for 72 hours until rescue, he battles hordes of zombies, using his instincts to survive and uncover the truth behind the incident.
Dead Rising originally released back in 2006 on the Xbox 360, and back in 2016, in order to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the game, Capcom launched the Dead Rising HD Remastered, which was released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The release details for "Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster" are still unknown, but the trailer suggests it will likely launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S|X. Though it is expected that there will be revealed during CAPCOM NEXT - Summer 2024 on July 2 at 6 am.
