The upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has many fans excited for its release. A sequel to the 2019 Modern Warfare reboot, the game will be going back to the modern day after Vanguard’s World War 2 setting.
While many are excited to see the continuation of Modern Warfare’s story with Captain Price and Task Force 141, others are more excited about the multiplayer offerings. Judging by the latest teaser for the upcoming Call of Duty Next event, a few classic game modes might be making a return.
According to Call of Duty leaker TheGhostOfHope on Twitter, the teaser showcased two icons for the Domination and Capture The Flag game modes, confirming their return to the game.
While most COD fans will be familiar with the two modes, it’s still good to see Infinity Ward keeping the two classic modes in Modern Warfare 2.
