Bleach: Rebirth of Souls game Releases Overview Trailer to Preview Gameplay!

Bandai Namco Entertainment America has recently released aa trailer for the upcoming Bleach: Rebirth of Souls game. Rebirth of Souls is a 3D arena fighting game and the latest video game in the Bleach franchise.



The trailer featured a battle between the main character of the series, Ichigo Kurosaki and a fan-favourite, Byakuya Kuchiki. Throughout the battle, the commentator would explain about the battle mechanics, such as the the many combat features and the 'how' to defeat your opponents.



In the game, during combat, players will use their Zankensoki (Shinigami combat form) in order to cut through their opponent's Reishi (Spirit Particles). The characters health bar is represented by nine bars of their Konpaku (Soul), and the battle ends once all nine bars are destroyed.



Players able to use Kikon Moves, which is able to take out several bars of Konpaku at once. Asides from that, while attacking your opponents, players will also be able to build up Spiritual Power in order to Spiritual Pressure Moves as well as use a Reverse Action move during both offense and defense.


During the height of battle, players will also be able to 'Awaken' and use their character's unique Bankai attacks to unleash powerful attacks on your enemies.



Of course the game doesn't just comprise of just fighting, as Rebirth of Souls will also have a Story Mode which will cover the arcs from the original manga (from the Substitute Soul Reaper arc to the Arrancar arc).


Below is the description of the game released by Bandai Namco Entertainment America:


"Awaken the blade and reverse your fate in BLEACH REBIRTH OF SOULS. Engage in thrilling action-packed battles with iconic characters from the legendary anime franchise including Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, and Yasutora Sado (Chad). In the game, players will be able to unleash unique sword abilities like Bankai and unlock new forms in battle to claim victory against their opponents"


Although there was no release date that was mentioned for the game, it was noted that Bandai Namco Entertainment stated that the 20th anniversary of the Bleach anime "inspired" the game's development.
