Recently, Bandai Namco Entertainment has released their first character trailers for their upcoming game from the Bleach franchise, Bleach: Rebirth of Souls game. The three characters that were introduced were Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki and Uryu Ishida.
Each of the trailers showcased a bit into the character's profile before showing the gameplay and special abilities that each character possesses. Here is a rundown of what was was showcased for each character trailer!
Ichigo Kurosaki Trailer:
Ichigo Kurosaki - A substitute Soul Reaper and the main character of the series. Equipped with his sword which contained mysterious power, Zangetsu. Now let's take a look at some of his Special Actions in the game:
Reverse:
Ichigo's Reverse Action, which is a regularly beneficial move during both offence and defence, but when using Ichigo, wen conducting a Reverse Action, Ichigo will obtain various enhancements, such as an improvement in his basic attacks, changes in certain actions and even an enhancement on his Kikon Move!
Distinctive Techniques:
Special Flash Attack - The Special Flash Attack a move Ichigo uses that can even be used while charging forward, and attack can be continued if additional inputs were made during the attack.
Spiritual Pressure Move:
Wielding - When utilising his Reiatsu (Spiritual Pressure), Ichigo uses a move known as Wielding, where he attacks his opponents while wielding Zangetsu which makes him temporarily invincible. A powerful follow-up attack then continues if it successfully hits.
Awakening:
When in his Awakened Form, Ichigo's performance enhances as his speed and defence drastically increases. His Special Flash Attacks also increases in numbers, to allow him to deal devastating attacks on his opponents.
Although there were no mentions of his Hollow Mask, it was shown in the trailer when Ichigo was in his crazed state.
Rukia Kuchiki Trailer:
Now moving on to Rukia Kuchiki, the very person who transferred her powers to Ichigo at the beginning of the series. The Captain of the Thirteenth Division in the Soul Society, she has many devastating abilities to defeat her opponents.
Signature Moves:
Hado Number 31: Shakkaho: Firing off fireballs from her hands, you'll be able to create combos and various forms of power using Rukia as she fires off her Shakkaho. This can be down by holding the input to strengthen the move.
Spiritual Pressure Moves
Spiritual Pressure Move 1 - Hado Number 4: Byakurai: When using this move, Rukia takes a step backwards and Byakurai also makes her temporarily invincible as she deals damage to her enemies with a beam.
Spiritual Pressure Move 2 - Hado Number 33: Sokatsui: This move is a follow-up attack thaat can be used after Rukia successfully slashes her enemies.
Awakening:
When in her Awakened Form, Rukia unleashes the powers of her Zanpakuto, the Sode no Shirayuki. When using unleashing its Shikai form, it helps strengthen Rukia's overall battle performance and her abilities transforms in order to compliment the Sode no Shirayuki.
Uryu Ishida Trailer:
The final character trailer that was released was the sole Quincy of the group, Uryu Ishida. A proud member oof the Quincy, he joins Ichigo on his adventures and even befriends him.
Spiritual Pressure Moves
Spiritual Pressure Move 1 - Quincy Arrow: Uryu fires an arrow, and if the attack connects, Uryu will then use his Hirenkyaku and land several follow-up attacks on his opponent.
Spiritual Pressure Move 2 - Seeleschneider: By holding Seeleschneider, Uryu is able to absorb his opponent's attack before firing off a powerful attack of his own.
Awakening
When activating his Ransotengai, Uryu is able to enhance his damage output as well as the amount of Spiritual power that he can absorb, which makes it easier to unleash more Spiritual Pressure Moves.
Thus far, these three are the characters that were unveiled by Bandai Namco, and there's no doubt in my mind that the game will be releasing more character trailers in the upcoming days and weeks before the game's release date.
