Bandai Namco Entertainment have recently released the Character Trailer for Byakuya Kuchiki, a fan favourite character in the entire franchise, for the upcoming Bleach: Rebirth of Souls fighting game.
Much like the other Character Trailer releases prior to this, the trailers are meant to showcase a bit into the character's profile before showing the gameplay and special abilities that each character possesses. Here's a look into Byakuya Kuchiki's character trailer.
Byakuya Kuchiki Trailer:
Byakuya Kuchiki - the 28th Leader of the Kuchiki Clan and also the Captain of the 6th Division in the Soul Society. A fearsome tactician and even more dangerous to have as an opponent. Let's take a look at his abilities and skills in the game:
Signature Moves:
Senbonzakura Seal & Release: A technique which utilises both the Seal and Release forms of his Zanpakuto, Byakuya is able to maintain a slight distance advantage over his opponents.
Spiritual Pressure Moves
Spiritual Pressure Move 1 - Release: Senbonzakura / Seal: Senbonzakura: Depending on the form of Senbonzakura, Byakuya is able to attack from all directions. In its released form, Byakuya is able to draw in his enemies, while in its sealed form, it send its opponents back with a blast.
Spiritual Pressure Move 2 - That Won't Touch Me: As its namesake, with this skill, Byakuya is able to block his enemies attack and launch a counterattack with the Kido ability, Sokatsui.
Awakening:
In his Awakened state, Byakuya unleashes his Bankai: Senbonzakura Kageyoshi, while allows his weapon to have a fixed form which strengthens Byakuya's mid and long-ranged attacks. Though it comes at a cost, as he becomes weaker when it comes to close combat.
