Earlier this year, MSI announced an Evangelion Unie-01 lineup including its motherboard, liquid cooler, power supply, and PC case at CES 2022. Now, ASUS also announced that it will launching its own Evangelion-themed products too, which include the ROG Maximus Z690 HERO motherboard and the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card with the Unit EVA-01 theme and purple and green finish.
The BIOS for the motherboard will feature the EVA-01 unit theme while the M.2 expansion AIC is also Evangelion-themed and allows two extra NVMe devices.
The Evangelion-themed ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card is priced at 63,990TWD (~RM9,439) while the ROG Maximus Z690 HERO motherboard costs 17,960TWD (~RM2,649).
