Apple Will Reportedly Launch Four New M2 Chip-Powered Macs This Year

Apple is reportedly gearing up to release new M2 chip-powered Macs later this year, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman in his Power On newsletter. Gurman noted the launch of several Macs, including a 13-inch MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, 24-inch iMac, and a redesigned MacBook Air, all powered by the rumored M2 chip.

While Apple hasn't revealed any details about the M2 chip, Gurman believes it will be slightly more powerful than the M1 chip with its graphics cores increased from 7 or 8 to 9 or 10.

As we expect the release of the iPhone SE with 5G support and the iPad Air during the upcoming event on 8 March, Gurman says that he's told that at least one new Mac will be announced on that day. He also expects "another round of Mac releases around May or June. "
