Smosh, a prominent comedy channel originated on YouTube since 2005 has receive a great news today, where the original creators Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla decided to brought back their OG channel.
In 2017, one of the creator, Anthony Padilla have announced the departure from Smosh due to the buyout by Defy Media, which causes the loss of creative inspiration from Anthony. And after a few year, Defy Media filed for bankruptcy and was acquired by Rhett and Link's Mythical Entertainment.
Until now, Hecox and Padilla have brought back the rights of the Smosh to bring back the channel to its roots, they both will be handling the writing, directing, and starring in comedy sketches on June 30 on their YouTube channel.
Last but not least, Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla also asked fans to support Smosh by joining their YouTube channel membership and maintain the same contents like Smosh Games and Smosh Pit in the future.
