Acer's New Laptops - Swift Go and Aspire Vero 16 Features New Intel Core Ultra 200H Series Processors!


Acer has unveiled refreshed versions of the Swift Go and Aspire Vero 16 laptops, offering improved performance, energy efficiency, vibrant displays, and sustainable designs for the AI-driven PC era. The Swift Go 14 and 16 are ultra-thin, lightweight, and feature long battery life, making them perfect for productivity in any environment. Available with 3K OLED or 2K IPS touch displays, these laptops provide stunning visuals.


The Aspire Vero 16, a carbon-neutral laptop made from over 70% recycled plastic and bio-based materials, offers a sustainable yet durable option without compromising performance. Both laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra processors and Intel Arc graphics, enhancing AI performance and efficiency. Mobile workers can also enjoy high-speed internet with the new Acer Connect 5G Wi-Fi and Acer Wave D7 Wi-Fi dongle.


James Lin, General Manager of Notebooks at Acer, emphasized the company's commitment to advancing technology while remaining focused on sustainability. He stated that the updated Swift Go and Aspire Vero laptops, powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, reflect Acer's goal of delivering high-performance, eco-friendly products that meet customers' evolving needs.


David Feng, Vice President at Intel, highlighted the breakthrough capabilities of the new Intel Core Ultra processors, which enhance AI performance, graphics, and CPU power for thin-and-light laptops. He also noted that the new Swift Go and Vero models showcase the successful long-term collaboration between Intel and Acer.


Acer Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14: Power and Portability Redefined


The new Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14 laptops are designed for users who require performance, portability, and impressive visuals. Equipped with Intel Core Ultra 200H processors and Intel Arc graphics, these laptops offer up to 99 AI TOPS for handling demanding tasks and up to 27.5 hours of video playback. With up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 2 TB of SSD storage, they provide smooth multitasking and ample storage.


AI-powered tools, including Microsoft Copilot for instant support, Acer LiveArt™ 2.0 for creative projects, and Acer PurifiedVoice™ 2.0 for clearer online communication, enhance productivity. The laptops feature stunning displays, including 3K OLED or 2K IPS touchscreen options, and are certified for vibrant color and reduced eye strain. Their slim, portable designs with laser-etched covers and 180-degree hinges support flexible usage, while multi-control touchpads offer ease of use.


For productivity, the Swift Go laptops include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 1440p QHD IR cameras with DTS:X® Ultra audio, and various security features such as facial recognition, fingerprint readers, and privacy shutters. They also have dual Thunderbolt™ 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, and a MicroSD card slot, and are built with eco-friendly materials and recycled packaging.


Aspire Vero 16: Sustainability Meets Performance


Acer's commitment to sustainability is highlighted by the Aspire Vero 16 (AV16-71P), which maintains carbon neutrality throughout its lifecycle. The laptop features a chassis with over 70% PCR and bio-based materials, a touchpad made from ocean-bound plastic, reduced PET thickness, and an easy-to-repair design, minimizing its environmental impact. Its MIL-STD-810H-certified chassis ensures durability while preserving a sleek appearance.


Powered by Intel Core Ultra 200H processors, up to 32 GB of memory, and 2 TB of storage, the Aspire Vero 16 offers strong performance for various tasks. It has been recognized as a CES 2025 Innovation Award Honoree for its blend of sustainability and performance. The 16-inch display supports a 100% sRGB color gamut and features slim bezels for enhanced visuals. Collaboration and security are improved with a 1440p QHD webcam, privacy options, Wi-Fi 7, HDMI 2.1, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports.


Acer Connect M6E 5G Mobile Wi-Fi and Acer Wave D7 Wi-Fi 7 Dongle


Acer's latest mobile Wi-Fi devices offer ultra-fast internet access anywhere, anytime. The Acer Connect M6E 5G mobile Wi-Fi device provides high-speed 5G connectivity in over 135 countries, supported by SIM card, virtual SIM, and SignalScan technology. It features an 8,000 mAh battery with fast USB Type-C charging, offering up to 28 hours of uninterrupted internet and supporting up to 20 devices.


The device ensures reliable hotspot sharing with 2x2 MIMO technology and Wi-Fi 6E 6 GHz band, reducing network congestion for work or gaming. NFC touch-to-connect technology allows for quick Wi-Fi connection with Android devices. Its lightweight, pocket-sized design is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance, and it offers enterprise-level data security with WPA 3 encryption, firewalls, SIM lock, and VPN support.


The Acer Wave D7 Wi-Fi 7 dongle provides Wi-Fi 7 speeds up to 2,880 Mbps with tri-band technology, supporting all bands (2.4, 5, and 6 GHz) and offering flexible installation via USB Type-A and Type-C connectors. Its MLO+ feature ensures optimized wireless performance by selecting the best access points.

The Acer Swift Go 16 (SFG16-73) will be available in North America in April, starting at USD 949.99; in EMEA in Q2, starting at EUR 1,299, and in Australia in April, starting at AUD 2,599.


The Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-74) will be available in North America in May, starting at USD 899.99; in EMEA in Q2, starting at EUR 1,249, and in Australia in April, starting at AUD 2,399.


The Acer Aspire Vero 16 (AV16-71P) will be available in North America in April, starting at USD 799.99, and in EMEA in Q2, starting at EUR 1,199.


The Acer Connect M6E 5G Mobile Wi-Fi will be available in North America in Q1, starting at USD 249, and in EMEA in Q2, starting at EUR 249.


The Acer Wave D7 Wi-Fi 7 Dongle will be available in North America in Q1, starting at USD 79, and in EMEA in Q3, starting at EUR 99.
