Orange Esports Cafe and Logitech Malaysia's New Rental Initiative Delivers Gaming PCs to Your House

Are you trapped at home with nothing to do for an unforeseeable amount of time? Or did your gaming PC break down without warning while you're trapped indoors due to the Movement Control Order?

Well, if you can't head to a cybercafe to fulfill your gaming urges, Orange Esports Cafe and Logitech Malaysia will bring the gaming PCs to you!

Play@Home is a PC rental initiative that delivers gaming PCs to your doorstep. You can choose from 2 differently specced packages as follows:

Premium

  • i5 6th-gen processor

  • 16GB RAM

  • GTX 1050Ti graphics card

  • BenQ 24-inc gaming monitor

2-week rental: RM200

1-month rental: RM350

Ultimate

  • i7 9th-gen processor

  • 16GB RAM

  • GTX 1070Ti graphics card

  • BenQ 24-inch 144Hz gaming monitor

2-week rental: RM300

1-month rental: RM500

If you have slow internet, you don't even have to worry about downloading mainstream titles - each PC already comes with Dota 2, CS:GO, Fortnite, Apex Legends, and PUBG pre-installed.

The service is only available in the Klang Valley, and a RM30 delivery charge applies. No word if peripherals are included, although Logitech is one of the initiative's partners.

Personally, we think this is a genius idea to recoup losses that cybercafes may have otherwise made during the MCO. Judging by the comments on the article, there seems to be quite a good response so far; it will be interesting to see if other cybercafe operators will follow suit in the near future.
